I teach piano to children and adults from young (five years) to, shall we say, a more mature age. And, from all backgrounds and walks of life.
With a 100% pass rate in Grade 1 to Grade 7 and theory (Grade 5), I’ve helped a great many people to master and enjoy an instrument often considered difficult to master.
Through empathy and commitment, I’m privileged to have worked with both professional and amateur musicians to conquer their crippling performance anxiety. Equally, people from all over the world working in UK companies in need of support to finetune their English speaking skills and/or to prepare for exams.
I’ve also taught English to foreign students in Bangkok, Jeju Island in South Korea and Henan Province in China. Also, in the UK and online.
Grade exams for the piano, from beginner to more advanced, including the often-tricky Grade 5 theory exam.

In addition, the Cambridge exams, where I teach FCE, CAE and CPE (C2 Proficiency).

Therefore, in most cases (but not all, of course), you’ll need to prepare to commit for a number of sessions over a defined period of time.
It’s best to get in touch to find out more.
I work during the day and potentially Saturday mornings if this works for both of us.
